Interior Cable Railing Systems by Josh Heckman Construction Inc.
Check out these photos of a recent interior cable railing installation we completed in Roseville, CA. Our customers were thrilled with the results after searching for something that would provide a modern update and “get rid of the old wood bannisters!” Our crew did just that; and as you can see from the photos; the black powder coated cable railing system makes quite an impression.
Potential customers love the sleek look of interior cable railing systems and the upkeep is minimal to non existent. Cablerail is extremely simple to wipe down with stainless steel cleaner. The durability of stainless steel and powder coated finishes is almost unmatched by other railing products. We also fabricated some custom poplar top rail material for this project; our crew milled each piece out of select rough cut timber.
Some of the benefits to using a wooden top rail vs. steel are primarily the cost savings and ability to stain or finish the material in a variety of different ways. For this project we used an ebony stain by Sherwin Williams. All of our railing systems can be done in all steel or a wood hybrid combination like the one featured in this article.
Type 316 Stainless Steel Cable and Hardware
The remaining components used for this custom fabricated steel railing system consisted of 2″ square metal tube steel posts with 1/8″ stainless steel cable infill. All cable and hardware is T316 marine grade stainless steel which also works great for exterior applications. Our turn around time on projects like this is typically about 2-4 weeks for fabrication with installation happening in week 4.
Interior and exterior cable railing systems are one of our favorite customs at Josh Heckman Construction Inc. If you would like to obtain information or pricing on a custom railing project please give us a call or visit the CONTACT page.
